Class 2 Tipper Driver

Flexible People Ltd are currently seeking an experienced Tipper Driver for our well-known, industry-leading client, based in Slough .

Role Overview :

As a Tipper Driver, you will be responsible for transporting aggregates between construction sites, ensuring timely and efficient deliveries. This is a crucial role that helps keep projects moving smoothly.

Additional Information :

This role is to provide holiday and sickness cover as needed. While cover work is on an ad hoc basis , all candidates must be able to commit to two full weeks of training (Monday to Friday) to ensure familiarity with routes and procedures.

Key Responsibilities :

Safely operate tipper trucks to transport aggregates between locations

Maintain accurate records of deliveries and site transfers

Ensure adherence to health and safety regulations at all times

Conduct routine vehicle checks and report any maintenance needs

Work collaboratively with site teams to ensure efficient operations

Requirements :

At least 1 year of tipper driving experience

Class 1 or 2 driving licence

Valid CPC and tachograph

Good knowledge of construction site safety procedures

Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently

Working hours during cover will typically be Monday to Friday, 06 : 0016 : 00 .

Pay is £15.12 per hour (including holiday pay) , plus a £35 daily bonus for working over 8 hours.
