Overview
Our client is seeking a Conveyancing Paralegal to join their property department in Blackheath, London. You will be needed to assist Fee Earner's in the performance of his / her role in the Property Department.
The practice is looking for an individual with drive and ambition, who can work on their own initiative as well as in a team, take ownership and manage their own casework, with an emphasis on excellent written and verbal communication.
Responsibilities
- Typing correspondence and documents including faxes and e mails.
- Managing own casework
- Preparing and distributing papers documents for meetings
- Liaise with courts and legal professionals
- Drafting letters and other documents
Other Duties
Dealing promptly with all correspondence / instructionsDealing promptly with all telephone / faxes and emailsOrganizing meetings with other fee earners and clients as necessary or directedBooking Meeting RoomsKeeping departmental and individual diaries up to dateEnsuring that post, document exchange and hand deliveries are sent promptlyRequirements
1+ years' experience as a Conveyancing ParalegalExperience in Property Law preferrable, but not essentialDiscretion, for dealing with confidential informationComputer literacyExcellent accuracy and attention to detailExceptionally high standard of spelling and grammarThe ability to work to deadlines and multitaskptlyEnsuring that Photocopying is delivered to the General OfficeOther Duties
You are also expected to carry out any reasonable additional duties as may be requested to assist in the smooth running of the Department or in support of the designated Fee Earner or Fee Earners.How to apply
