We operate 24 / 7 and as such you are required to work flexible hours weekends and participate in an on-call rota. Full training / PPE / use of company equipment will be provided to ensure that all our drainage engineers have the right tools competency and confidence to undertake the work to Lanes high standard of operation regardless of background or previous experience.

Position : CCTV Drainage Engineer

Location : Deepham Sewage Treatment Works North London Region (Enfield North London)

Job Type : permanent full-time

Hours : Monday to Friday 50 hours a week (3 weeks of days 1 week of nights)

Salary : OTE 37800 per annum (made up of basic pay including night premium overtime and bonuses)

About the Role :

Due to continued growth and development we are now looking for customer focused people to join us in our Utility Division working on our Thames Water contract service to deliver real and effective solutions to waste-water network and drainage problems.

• Travelling to residential sites in a two person crew around the region in one of our custom-equipped fleet of high tech vans.
• Survey the network of drainage systems
• Assess pip conditions to produce high quality reports with the help of state of the art drain surveying equipment
• Ensuring jobs attended are completed
• Troubleshoot any problems that arise on the job
• Liaise with the team of Technical Specialists in regards to access and equipment issues
• Ensuring safe site set up
• Updating the job notes on VISTEC
• Ensure photos are being taken of the setup inspection chamber and whole site
• Delivering good customer service.
• Maintaining good H&S practise while carrying out works.
• Be aware of all Lanes Group policies and your responsibilities towards them.
• Any reasonable ad-hoc tasks projects or duties as requested by management.

About You :

The ideal candidate will be hard working and respectful and comply with health and safety standards. Experience in the use of OS19X is useful but not essential. Other drainage qualifications (e.g. NRSWA and Confined Spaces) are an advantage. A full UK drivers licence is essential as both crew members may be needed to driver the vehicle.
