A growing team is looking for an experienced Block Manager to join their expanding department. This role is ideal for someone with a strong background in long leasehold block management, compliance, and client liaison.
Key Responsibilities :
Manage maintenance issues across multiple residential blocks, both planned and reactive
Assist with financial management, including preparing, reviewing, and implementing annual budgets
Review expenditure and authorise invoice payments
Liaise with leaseholders, residents associations, service providers, and stakeholders
Prepare regular reports for directors, board members, and relevant parties
Handle outstanding debts following routine credit control procedures
Conduct frequent site visits to ensure smooth operations
Maintain statutory compliance records and an asset register for all blocks
Attend AGMs and board meetings
Oversee health & safety compliance, fire risk assessments, and legislative reporting
Implement and manage the Section 20 consultation process
Ensure contracts, parking, and legal compliance are maintained
Skills & Attributes :
Proven experience in block management, with a good understanding of long leasehold and relevant legislation
Full UK driving licence preferred
TPI qualification desirable (or willingness to study towards it)
Excellent communication and written skills
Strong IT skills, including Microsoft Office
Highly organised, proactive, and detail-oriented
Salary & Working Hours :
£35,000£45,000 DOE
