FP&A Financial Controller

BAM UK&I are looking for a FP&A Financial Controller to report into the FP&A Director to be based from any of our UK&I offices

Your mission

The role is accountable for leading and driving the following :

• Interfaces between Group Control, UK&I Division and Segment Finance teams when required.
• Lead key financial processes including forecasting, budget planning and performance reporting. Ensure requirements and timelines (MF / QF / OP packs) are communicated clearly to Segment FP&A teams and are well understood.
• Provide necessary review and constructive challenge to Segment / Enabling Functions financial submissions (MF, QF, OP packs) and help improve quality of submissions
• Manage the CTC consolidation of the UK&I Divisional financial submissions in SAP BPC
• Pull together the UK&I Divisional financial submissions (MF, QF, OP packs) demonstrating a clear and deep understanding of key business drivers impacting financial performance.
• Provide technical accounting guidance to the Finance and Business teams and ensure BAM Accounting and financial policies are being consistently applied across Segments
• Identify opportunities for continuous development, improvement of financial systems and processes to realise efficiencies and standardisation across the Finance and FP&A function
• Provide insights to senior management around financial modelling, forecasts, and profitability
• Business partnering with Finance Directors and Business Controllers and contribute to decision support
• Provide leadership and support ad-hoc projects and initiatives as required
• Preparing business cases to support new investment, strategic and other business decisions (ROI Modelling)
• Analyse competitor and market financial information to provide insight to assist with decision making.
• Deputise and stand in for FP&A Director when necessary

Who are we looking for?

We are looking for an experienced Finance professional with a track-record of FP&A built up in a strategic thinking cost control and project environment, where the key focus will be in controlling UK&I overheads

You are experienced, energized, capable, analytically, and numerically strong individual that is able to get into the detail but also step back and look at the larger picture, be more strategic and align the whole business into
