Job description

Overview

ELECTRICIAN – King’s Lynn. The role is with Dodd Group, a privately owned family business since 1947, offering electrical and mechanical design, installation and maintenance services across sectors.

Responsibilities

  • Work on own initiative and within teams for LV and ICA installation, testing and commissioning on sites across East Anglia.
  • Travel on a daily basis; a vehicle will be provided.

Qualifications

  • JIB ECS card, clean full driving licence, and qualification to C&G NVQ L3 or equivalent, with experience of industrial and commercial electrical installations.
  • Relevant experience (e.g. panel wiring, fault finding, control and instrumentation).
  • Competence with MS Office and laptop-based configuration apps; familiarity with laptop or tablet-based admin systems including MS Word, Excel and Outlook is advantageous.
  • Additional qualifications such as C&G 2391, IPAF, PASMA, working at height, first aid, manual handling and asbestos awareness training would be an advantage, although relevant training will be provided.
