Are you the right person for the job?
- Experience working with bespoke computer systems
- Understanding the company product range and / or the wider power transmission sector
- Good knowledge of typical customer types and their commercial needs
- Strong communication skills at all levels
- Professional and courteous manner with customers, suppliers, and colleagues
- Excellent telephone manner and PC literacy
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel and Outlook
- Experience with Zoho software is an advantage
- Flexible and reliable with a strong work ethic
- Determined, adaptable, and able to embrace change with a positive attitude
What will your role look like?
Responding to sales enquiries via phone and emailBuilding and maintaining strong customer relationshipsProducing accurate and competitive quotationsProviding up-to-date information on stock, availability, and pricingEntering and tracking all enquiries and quotes on the system dailyLiaising with key suppliers for products outside of in-house manufactureAccurately entering and progressing sales ordersProactively updating customers on order progress, delivery changes, or delaysWorking closely with internal sales, technical, and production teamsCommunicating market and competitor activityContributing to increasing order intake and overall salesFollowing company procedures, quality standards, and policiesWhat can you expect in return?
