🧪 The Role – Science Teacher
As a Science Teacher in this specialist setting, you will :
Plan and deliver engaging Biology, Chemistry, and Physics lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4
Adapt teaching strategies to meet the individual needs of pupils with SEN
Work collaboratively with the SENDCo, support staff, and teaching colleagues
Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment
Monitor and support student progress and engagement
✅ Requirements – What You Need
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) – ECTs welcome to apply
Degree in a Science-related subject
Strong subject knowledge in Biology, Chemistry, and / or Physics
Excellent communication and classroom management skills
A patient and compassionate approach to teaching
Prior experience working in an SEN setting is desirable but not essential
Understanding of SEN teaching strategies is advantageous
