Assistant Housekeeper - 12-month FTC - £29,131 London Mayfair

Intergovernmental body is seeking an experienced Assistant Housekeeper to support at their Secretary Generals residence in Mayfair.

This is initially a 12-month fixed term role to start ASAP and will pay £29,131 plus benefits.

Working hours 40 hours per week

The Assistant Housekeepers role will involves activities associated with preparing meals and serving drinks, as required, as well as maintaining the Secretary-Generals residence in a clean and presentable manner; responsible for assisting the Housekeeper in the day-to-day smooth running of the house including dealing with admittance of guests and maintenance personnel & suppliers, cleaning, laundry, ironing, washing etc as directed by the Housekeeper.

The ideal Assistant Housekeeperwill have the following knowledge, skills and experience :

• Previous experience of working in a similar housekeeping role in an official household.
• Experience in cleaning / housekeeping and cooking
• Capacity to work within an official household, demonstrating interpersonal skills, sound judgement
• Results orientated with a strong focus on providing a service
• Commitment, flexibility and initiative
