Job descriptionPrescribe within your competence. Manage minor conditions or chronic disease reviews under agreed protocols. Lead audits, QOF, IIF, and local prescribing incentive schemes. Collaborate with community pharmacies, care homes, and NHS teams. Advise on cost-effective prescribing in line with local guidance. Provide training or updates for practice staff. Mentor pharmacy technicians, if appropriate. Keep up to date with clinical guidance and professional development opportunities. GPhC-registered pharmacist Strong clinical knowledge and patient-focused communication Experience in primary care, hospital, or community pharmacy Commitment to CPD and evidence-based practice Completion of the CPPE Primary Care Pharmacy Education Pathway Independent Prescribing qualification Experience with SystmOne and e-prescribing tools Familiarity with QOF, IIF, or other NHS frameworks

Clinical Pharmacist – GP Practice (South Coast)
Location : Bognor Regis
Salary : BAND 8A - Up to £60,000
Hours : Full-time / Part-time options available
About the Role
We’re looking for an enthusiastic and proactive Clinical Pharmacist to join a friendly, forward-thinking GP practice on the beautiful South Coast. You’ll work closely with GPs, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to optimise patient medicines, provide structured medication reviews, and support safe, evidence-based prescribing.
Key Responsibilities
Clinical Care
- Conduct structured medication reviews, particularly for patients with long-term conditions or polypharmacy.
- Support safe and effective prescribing, including monitoring high-risk medicines and managing repeat prescriptions.
- Provide patient consultations (face-to-face, telephone, or video).
- Promote deprescribing and reduce medication-related harm where appropriate.
