The Role

As a Music Teacher at our school, you will :

• Deliver engaging and inspiring music lessons to students across Key Stage 3, 4, and 5, encouraging them to develop both their theoretical and practical musical skills
• Develop a varied and exciting curriculum that sparks creativity and fosters a passion for music, ensuring students gain a deep understanding of music theory, history, and performance
• Guide students through individual and group performances , helping them refine their instrumental, vocal, and composition skills
• Contribute to the school’s music culture by supporting and leading extracurricular activities such as choir, orchestra, music clubs, and performances
• Collaborate with fellow Music Teachers to share best practices and continually enhance the curriculum, ensuring that it challenges and motivates students
• Provide meaningful feedback on student progress, supporting them to reach their full potential
• For experienced Music Teachers , take on a leadership role within the department, mentoring junior staff and contributing to strategic planning and curriculum development
• For newer Music Teachers , receive structured mentoring and professional development opportunities to help you grow and thrive in your teaching career
