Job description

Reliable Recruit are looking to hire a Sewing Machinist for a temp to perm role at their manufacturing and distribution site in Trafford Park

The work will involve :

  • Operating Automated Walking Floor Machines
  • Overlocking experience
  • Trimming
  • Upholstery work for Cushions and Sofas
  • Producing Cushions and other fabric products for indoor and outdoor furniture
  • Attention to Detail and General Housekeeping

The working times and pay :

  • Monday to Friday
  • 13.00 - 14.00 p / h dependant on experience and training needed
  • 40 hours per week
  • Flexible shifts between 06 : 00 and 08 : 00 starts to suit candidates childcare / travelling
  • 12 week temp to perm opportunity

    • Skills / Experience Needed :

  • Previous experience on Overlocking or Flatbed Sewing Machines preferred
  • Experience on Automatic / Walking Foot Machines essential
  • Upholstery experience essential
  • Experience dealing with different fabrics and materials and preferably working on cushions and furniture
