Contract Data Engineer – Snowflake Migration

Fully Remote (UK) | £500–£600 / day | 6 Months

We are looking for an experienced Data Engineer to support a major cloud migration project , moving on-premise data infrastructure to Snowflake . This is a fully remote role, open to UK-based contractors, offering an initial 6-month engagement.

Key Responsibilities :

Design, build, and optimize Snowflake data warehouses and data pipelines
Lead the migration of legacy on-prem systems to Snowflake
Develop and maintain ETL / ELT workflows for ingestion and transformation
Collaborate with architects and analysts to ensure high data quality and performance

Requirements :

Proven track record with Snowflake builds and migrations

Strong SQL and data modeling experience

Background in cloud data platforms (AWS or Azure)

Experience with ETL tools and pipeline automation

Desirable :

dbt , Python / PySpark , and CI / CD for data workflows
