Role Overview
This is a commercial and relationship management role, ideal for someone who is as comfortable in a spreadsheet as they are at a dinner with private hospital executives or leading consultants.
You’ll work across both sides of our business, the health care coordination arm and the medical indemnity arm to ensure that our network of doctors, hospitals and therapists are both high-quality and well looked after. You'll also work on targeted projects that increase value for our clients and improve the systems we run, from provider lookup tools to podcast content to tracking how and where athletes are being treated.
Key Responsibilities
Relationship Management
- Act as a key liaison for hospitals, clinics, and treatment providers, ensuring strong working relationships and day-to-day coordination of referrals.
- Build trusted relationships with club doctors and performance staff, supporting them in finding and accessing the best care for their players.
- Help shape and lead engagement initiatives, such as networking events, content features, podcast interviews, and educational workshops.
Commercial & Contracting
Work with private hospitals and medical providers to negotiate commercial terms for common procedures and pathways.Maintain up-to-date records of pricing agreements, contract terms, and coverage status.Identify opportunities to improve value or pricing based on referral volumes and clinical patterns.Indemnity & Risk Mitigation
Support the professional communication of indemnity requirements to treatment providers who work with elite athletes.Use our tools to help club doctors assess indemnity coverage at a glance.Encourage providers to take appropriate cover by highlighting the reputational risks of third-party claims and the protective value of our insurance products.Content & Profile Building
Help featured specialists and providers upload rich content to their profiles, including bios, videos, case studies, and podcasts.Collaborate with our production team to create spotlight features on trusted providers, increasing visibility and trust.Identify content themes or specialist guests for our podcast series and editorial calendar.Analytics & Systems
Use Excel and our internal data tools to track trends in referrals, coverage gaps, and pricing variations.Help build reporting packs for key clients (e.g., Premier League or national governing bodies) showing how the network is used and where improvements could be made.Feed insights into the ongoing improvement of our digital tools and lookup systems.What We’re Looking For
Strong commercial instincts and experience in a business-facing role, ideally involving pricing, partnerships, or negotiation.Excellent interpersonal skills : confident, credible, and able to build rapport with senior clinicians and commercial leaders.Competent with data and spreadsheets – not just inputting but analysing, spotting patterns, and generating insights.Exceptional organisational skills with the ability to juggle long-term projects and day-to-day requests without dropping the ball.Experience working with insurers, sports organisations, or legal / medical professionals.A background in high-performance sport, either professionally or through personal interest, is a bonus.Understanding of medical indemnity or insurance is helpful, but not essential – we’ll teach you what you need to know.Exposure to senior decision-makers across professional sport and private medicine.Opportunity to grow quickly as we scale the business and expand our reach.Some working from home is available.Flexible structure : 4-day or 5-day working week considered.Location : SurreySalary : £42,000–£58,000 depending on experience and hoursDetails
