Job description

Job title : FLT Driver (RTITB Licence Essential)

Location : Bredbury, Greater Manchester

Hours : Monday-Thursday, 07 : 30-17 : 15

Contract : Temp to perm based on performance.

Pay : £12.94 / hour, rising to £13.79 / hour after 12 weeks

Overtime : Overtime available at double time

We are seeking a qualified FLT Driver to support a busy manufacturing / warehouse operation. Role includes moving materials, loading / unloading, stock control, and basic warehouse tasks as needed.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Operate FLTs safely to move materials and pallets
  • Load / unload goods from vehicles
  • Unload, check, and store incoming materials
  • Maintain clean, organise work areas
  • Assist with stock checks
  • Collaborate with production / planning / quality teams
  • Follow health & safety policies and site rules

Requirements :

  • In-date RTITB FLT Licence (essential)
  • Prior FLT driving experience in manufacturing / warehousing
  • Good numeracy / literacy; comfortable with paperwork / Data entry
  • Able to operate counterbalance (and reach if applicable) and perform inspections
  • Accurate, detail-focused, able to meet deadlines
  • Team player with good communication; proactive about safety
