Class 1 Driver - General Haulage

Class 1 HGV Night Drivers - £17.00-17.50 per hour - Altham (Ad-hoc Work)

We are currently recruiting experienced Class 1 (C+E) Night Drivers to provide ad-hoc holiday and sickness cover a client in Altham. This is a flexible role, ideal for drivers looking to pick up additional shifts or those preferring non-permanent work.

Location : Altham

Working Hours : Ad-hoc night shifts

Pay Rate : £17.00-17.50 per hour

Type of Work : Pallet network and general haulage

The Role

Driving Class 1 vehicles on night trunk runs and Hub runs.

Working on pallet network and general haulage contracts

Securing loads safely and delivering to set timescales

Carrying out daily vehicle checks and ensuring paperwork is completed correctly

Requirements

Full UK Class 1 (C+E) licence

Valid CPC & Digital Tachograph Card

Minimum 1 year of Class 1 driving experience

Flexibility to cover shifts at short notice

Professional, reliable, and safety-conscious approach
