Team Leader

We are looking for a Team Leader to join our team in Wellesbourne. This is a permanent (full-time) role with NIGHTS shift patterns : Monday to Thursday, 22 : 00 to 06 : 30, and Friday 19 : 00 to 02 : 30. Grade : O.

Responsibilities

• Lead the running of a safe and efficient operation, working within clear guidelines to help achieve defined outcomes for the site and the customer(s).
• Implement Behavioral Based Safety (BBS) program on a daily basis to confirm behaviors and processes are followed as specified.
• Report and investigate incidents within the workplace and respond to or escalate issues of non-compliance with safety regulations and procedures.
• Communicate all relevant DHL policies to direct line employees and monitor their implementation on a regular basis.
• Support management with resource planning and management, e.g., implement agreed processes to review performance, monitor absence and sickness, and address issues within clear guidelines.

What this role would suit

Requirements & Qualifications

Experience as a Team Leader and proficiency in standard IT tools. Strong understanding of warehousing guidelines and safety practices. Ability to manage resources and monitor performance within defined processes.
