What youll be doing
The position of Field Sales Support Manager has become available within a high-performing Sales & Marketing team. The successful applicant will have the opportunity to bring their own qualities and transferable skills to developing the role in tandem with the team.
You will have full operational control of the Field Sales Team, a group of customer-facing, field-based Account / Sales Managers located strategically across the UK, each managing their own designated territories.
You will be responsible for as a Field Sales Support Manager :
Overseeing the 5 field-based Customer Development Managers
Training, motivating, and directing the team to high performance levels in line with company targets and objectives
Ensuring daily communication with the team, including maintaining high-standard diary management
Preparing and conducting regular individual performance reviews
Offering administrative support to the team in line with company procedures
Participating in periodic customer visits alongside the Customer Development Managers
Implementing and managing various sales initiatives and incentives
Managing and attending trade shows as required
Attending Head Office meetings and review sessions
What we need from you as a Field Sales Support Manager :
Must be comfortable working at High Wycombe office
Full, clean driving licence for a manual car
Within commuting distance of High Wycombe
Strong attention to detail
Ability to communicate at all levels and cross-functionally
Ability to work both within a team and independently
Skills & experience youll bring to us as a Field Sales Support Manager :
Minimum 2 years experience managing people in Customer Service, Sales Support, or Sales / Account Management roles
Excellent customer service approach with the drive to go the extra mile
Commercial awareness with the ability to spot and act on opportunities
Proficiency in Microsoft Office
Strong organisational and presentation skills
