Service Manager

Job Type : Permanent

Location : Cambridge, Essex, Suffolk, Saffron Walden, Haverhill, Sudbury, Acton, Newmarket, Braintree, Bishops Stortford, Bury St Edmunds

Post Code : CB10 1ES

Salary : £60,000 to £70,000 + Car + Benefits

Start Date : ASAP

Ideally, you should have experience in managing a service department or have had a senior role within a service department with some level or responsibilities relating to customer support and engineering support within the Environmental Test Chambers, Climatic Chambers or the refrigeration sector.

Service Manager responsibilities.

  • Customer support, identifying customers' needs with the view to either assisting them to a fix or quoting them for a site visit.
  • Supporting field engineers with technical issues, spares etc.
  • Liaising with our equipment suppliers where support is required.
  • Trouble shooting as and when required, both in the field and remotely.
  • Field work as and when the demand requires.
  • Together with the service administrator
  • Organise engineer work loads
  • Quote customers for works
  • Quote customer for contracts and promote
  • Manage engineers and maintain their efficiency.
  • Resourcing additional staff as required or identified as needed.

Support the sales team with technical support, and pricing for add on services as part of new equipm...
