Senior Platform Engineer

Opticore IT are currently searching for a Senior Platform Engineer with strong experience in scripting with Python and Kubernetes to enable the delivery of network automation to the business. Our client has a newly defined automation framework, and to support this have implemented a Kubernetes, Message Broker, CI / CD pipeline, NoSQL database and log management / analytics solution.

This is an initial 6 month contract opportunity Inside IR35 with the prospect of extension. You will be required to be on site 1 day a week in Newbury.

What you'll be doing :

• Engage and work as part of a SCRUM delivery team.
• Develop python code to high standards.
• Work with the architectural function to transform the Automation stack, initially focusing on Kubernetes.
• Engage and work with highly technical customers.
