Job Title : Quality, Health and Safety and Environmental Coordinator
Location : Northampton
Salary : up to £30,750 DOE
Contract Type : Permanent
Working Hours : Monday - Friday 08 : 00 - 17 : 00
Role Purpose
The QHSE Coordinator has responsibility for Quality, Health and Safety, Environment and process control in conjunction with the QHSE Manager. This includes multiple departments throughout the Northampton site.
The QHSE Coordinator will be assigned tasks in line with the overall company strategy and will have objectives set out by the QHSE Manager.
Duties will include Health and Safety, Quality and process control, with the focus on adherence to all regulatory requirements and company procedures. The QHSE Coordinator may be involved with Operational Excellence improvement teams and will act in a supportive manner to aid continuous improvement.
Main Job Responsibilities
Responsible for assisting in operating a safe and quality focused working environment and highlighting any concerns or deviations to the relevant manager
Responsible for ensuring our quality standards are always adhered to throughout the departments
Inspection testing checking made product for deviations, across all production departments, including that already moved to Dispatch
Ensuring the associated quality documentation is complete and accurate
Carry out daily quality checks on the line, across all production departments
Preparation of PIT information for all Tier level meetings
Collation of Quality information daily from complaint information
Collation of Health and Safety data (ad hoc as the need arises)
Preparation of monthly reports (Quality and Health and Safety) for analysis by QHSE Manager and review by Management Team
Participate in the undertaking risk assessments,
Participate in the completion of accident / incident investigations with the Management Team, Quality adherence and complaint investigations
Identify where there are deviations or lack of consistency in the process and assist in the development of training sessions / manuals as required
Planning and conducting internal audits
Creating and updating relevant documents

Environmental, Health and Safety, Risk and compliance : To be committed to and champion a strong QHSE Culture on site which includes ensuring that safety performance indicators are regularly reviewed and addressed accordingly
Person Specification
Qualified ISO 9001, 45001, 14001 Auditor or Quality Management Qualification is desirable
Fluency in English, both written and oral
Experience of working at a manufacturing business with a strong emphasis on quality assurance
High level Excel Skills (pivot tables, filters, etc.)
Good Microsoft Word and Powerpoint skills
