This role is a permanent role.

Clearance : SC Ideal

Location : Remote

Core skills

Knowledge of legacy systems (debugging)
Must be hands on
Java 8, Spring, Maven, Git, JUnit, Web APIs (REST / JSON and XML / SOAP)
Tough project - prefer someone with experience of having been in numerous projects previously

Nice to have

JSPs, Javascript, JQuery, html, CSS, Mockito / JMock, MS SQL Server, MyBatis, Azure, Azure DevOps Pipelines, Docker, Ansible, Linux, Java 11, Spring Boot

(Internal) CRASH system knowledge

Role

Design, code, review and unit test in the Java stack

Assist other team members including developers testers and DevOps

Working on legacy systems (i.e. maintenance mode)

Assist / review on Automated Tests (C#) and Infrastructure changes (Docker, Ansible, Python, Linux)
