SEN Teaching Assistant – Sutton

Location : Sutton, London

Pay Rate : £85 – £96 per day (Depending on experience)

Start Date : ASAP

Contract Type : Full-time / Long-term

We are looking for a committed and enthusiastic SEN Teaching Assistant to join a warm and inclusive school in Sutton . This role is perfect for someone passionate about supporting children with Special Educational Needs and helping them progress academically and emotionally.

Key Responsibilities :

Provide 1 : 1 and small group support to pupils with various SEN needs.

Assist teachers in delivering engaging, well-structured, and differentiated lessons.

Encourage positive behaviour, confidence, and emotional well-being.

Help maintain a safe, supportive, and inclusive classroom environment.

Adapt learning activities and resources to meet individual student needs.

Requirements :

Experience supporting SEN learners (school, youth work, care, or similar).

Patient, empathetic, and proactive approach.

Strong communication and teamwork skills.

Valid DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply).
