EQUANS are recruiting for a Site Manager to be based in Manchester / Merseyside. This is a full-time permanent, working 39 hours per week. On offer is a competitive salary, car allowance, bonus and benefits package.
General Overview
To manage a designated project on site and achieve the target contributions in accordance with the contract documents and programme; ensuring that the project is delivered safely on time, to a high standard of quality and with high levels of client / resident satisfaction. To understand, implement and adhere to the company SHEQ policy / strategy and ensure all employees reporting to you do the same and being responsible for ensuring that SHEQ requirements are upheld to the highest of standards at all times.
It is essential that the candidate has Social Housing Refurbisment experince
Key Accountabilities
Maintenance of company required Health & Safety procedures / initiatives, including : Use of PPE
Site Inductions
Management of Method Statements / Risk Assessments
Undertake a thorough review of all subcontractors RAMS to ensure they have identified all foreseeable risks and implemented suitable controls
Obtain all risk assessments from contractors
To obtain sub-contractors Health & Safety policies prior to their work commencement
Identify training needs
Maintain statutory registers, including accident reporting
Work Permits
Scaffold / Lifting equipment inspections
In house audits / inspections
Site house keeping
Adherence to the Company quality standards including : Management of defects
Fully understand the Construction Phase Plan Requirements, including its development
Compliance with specification
Compliance with materials / workmanship schedules
Subcontractor code of conduct
Considerate Constructors Scheme
Coordination / Leadership of the site team, inclusive of : Assistant Managers
Resident Liaison Officers
Administrators
Sub-Contractors
Other site operatives
