Support Worker / Care Assistant

Overview

Care assistant required for care home for elderly residents.

Double time on Public and Bank holidays. Level 2. Level 3 attracts further enhanced rate. Sunday enhancement.

If you have no previous care experience we can support you to achieve Level 2 in Health and Social Care you will then have the opportunity to complete Level 3 in Health and Social Care, where you will receive enhanced payment in hourly rate.

Responsibilities

• Assisting residents with washing and dressing, personal care, bathing/showering, medication administration, serving meals, preparing drinks and light teas.
• Companionship and escort to appointments when required. Working within a small team of dedicated carers.
• Hopefully you will enjoy trips to the cinema and lunch in town, as our residents like to get out and about!

Shifts/Hours

Shifts: 07.30 – 15.00; 15.00 – 20.30

Alternate weekends. Three or four days available. Sunday enhancement of hourly rate. Four shifts per week, with option to cover annual leave and pick up additional shifts.

Requirements

• Right to live and work in the United Kingdom required. We are not currently employing where Sponsorship is required.
