HGV Class 1 Driver

The Recruitment Crowd are currently recruiting on behalf of our industry-leading client based in the Gatwick area. We are looking for Class 1 (Cat C&E) drivers to join the team. Hours : Monday to Friday - typically 9am start Pay Rate : £15.28 - £16.36 per hour PAYE Location : Gatwick Job Type : Temp to perm The role : Physically demanding role you'll be responsible for loading and unloading your own vehicle.

Equipment provided : tail lift and pump truck.

8 - 10 collections / deliveries per day - required to tip

All local runs, staying within a 30-mile radius of the depot.

You'll use your phone to download the companys app for managing collections.

Requirements : Full UK driving licence with Class 1 entitlement (category C+E).

1 year proven experience driving the relevant vehicle.

Valid and in date DCPC and Digital Tachograph card.

No more than 6 points on licence (minor offences only).

Be accustomed to a manually intensive role as this role can be quite demanding.

Full understanding of WTD legislation.

Excellent communication skills.
