HGV Class 2 Vacuum Tanker Driver £16.00 - £18.00 per hour

Job Description

Driver Provider UK are looking for HGV Class 2 drivers in the Towcester area for both day and night shift duties. Our client requires on-going vacuum tanker drivers to work on a 4 on 4 off rolling rota, so candidates will have to be available for weekend work.

We are looking for professional drivers with a positive can do attitude, who can work as part of a team or equally well alone.

We require candiates to have category C or CE driving entitlement, valid CPC and a valid digital tacho card. Cabdidates will also need to understand working under domestic regulations.

Experience would be prefered but is not essential as training will be provided. We can take newly qualified HGV drivers as all candidates will have to pass a pre employment driving assessment. Duties will include but are not exclusive to :

maintaining wet wells

managing emergency floods situations

emptying and legally disposing septic tank waste

other associated drainage duties.

Day shifts start at 05 : 00

Night shifts start at 17 : 00

Drivers are expected to be available for a 12 hour shift but should be prepared under emergencyy conditons to commit to longer duty

Day shift 05 : 00 - 17 : 00

Night shift 17 : 00 - 05 : 00

Candidates will undergo specialist training to be able to safely carry out drainage duties.

On going training and skill development

All required PPE and safety equipment will be provided.
