Mechanical Design Engineer

My client was established in 1969 and has been a world leader in their industry for over 50 years. The company is renowned for producing high-quality, innovative machinery that is exported worldwide.

As the Mechanical Design Engineer, you will be responsible for designing and developing special-purpose machinery and industrial equipment and lead the design of mechanical solutions from concept to detailed technical drawings.

What we would like from the Mechanical Design Engineer :

Minimum of 5 years’ experience in machinery design, preferably in special-purpose or industrial equipment

Experience using SolidWorks for 3D and AutoCAD for 2D

Excellent communication skills, both in team settings and when engaging with customers

Basic understanding of electrical and pneumatic control systems as they relate to mechanical design

What we offer the Mechanical Design Engineer :

Salary up to £55,000 doe
