Pension Team Leader

Pensions Team Leader – £400 per day (Umbrella) – North London / Hybrid

A London Local Authority is seeking an interim Pensions Team Leader to join the Pension Fund team.

Key Responsibilities :

Lead and supervise Pension Officers and Apprentices, including allocating and checking work.

Handle the full range of LGPS calculations (cradle to grave), ensuring accuracy and compliance with regulations.

Provide expert support with complex member queries and calculations.

Assist the Pensions Manager with all aspects of LGPS administration.

Requirements :

Strong experience working within the Local Government Pension Scheme (LGPS).

In-depth knowledge of LGPS regulations and their practical application.

Proven ability to manage a pensions team and oversee technical work.

Experience with Altair desirable (other pensions systems will be considered).
