Senior Business Analyst
Here at Human Appeal we have an exciting opportunity for a Senior Business Analyst to join our team based in Cheadle, Greater Manchester. You will join us on a full-time basis as part of an initial 1-year fixed term contract with a view to progressing into a permanent role. In return, you will receive a competitive salary of £41,650 - £56,350 per annum depending on experience.

As Senior Business Analyst , the successful candidate will play an integral role in supporting the organisation’s ongoing digital transformation programme by identifying, analysing, and documenting business needs and processes across global functions. Working within the Systems & Development team, the post holder will bridge the gap between technology and business operations, ensuring that system and process improvements align with the charity’s strategic goals. The role will also support the successful delivery of system implementations, enhancements, and continuous improvement initiatives across the organisation.
We are ideally looking to appoint somebody immediately to this role.

Business requirements are captured, documented, and signed off effectively across projectsProcess improvement opportunities identified and implementedHigh stakeholder satisfaction with analysis outputs and project outcomesContribution to the successful delivery of digital projects on time and within scopeSystems changes and enhancements adopted successfully by end usersImproved data quality, accessibility, and reporting aligned with organisational needsWhat we’re looking for in our Senior Business Analyst :
Education
Degree in Business, Information Systems, or related field (or equivalent experience)Business Analysis Certification (., BCS BA diploma, IIBA, or similar)Salesforce certifications (., Salesforce Administrator or Salesforce Business Analyst) are desirable.Experience
3–5 years’ experience as a Business Analyst (ideally in a global or cross-functional environment)Experience delivering business analysis for digital transformation, ideally within not-for-profit or mission-driven organisations is an advantageDemonstrable track record of supporting digital change initiatives, including system implementations or upgradesStrong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a methodical approach to gathering and documenting business requirementsExcellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and build relationships across a wide range of stakeholdersExperience with process mapping, business process reengineering, and workflow optimization.Familiarity with Agile, Scrum or other iterative delivery methodologiesAbility to manage multiple tasks and priorities across concurrent projectsComfortable working with ambiguity and translating complex needs into clear, actionable plansComputer skills
Proficient with business analysis and documentation tools (., Visio, Lucidchart, Confluence, Jira, Trello)Strong understanding of CRM, ERP, or HRIS systems (. Salesforce, Dynamics,Strong MS Office skills (Excel, PowerPoint, Word)Familiarity with data structures, reporting tools, and integration concepts beneficialLanguages
