Registered Manager – Children’s Residential Services (2-bed) | Saddleworth, Oldham (OL3)

Job title : Registered Manager – Children’s Residential Services

Location : Saddleworth, Oldham (OL3)

Salary : £48,000 to £52,000 plus Ofsted bonus

Hours : 9am to 5pm or 8am to 4pm, Monday to Friday, with on-call duties

Employment type : Permanent

Service : Ofsted-regulated children’s home

The home

A new 2-bed provision with a strong focus on consistency, structure, and therapeutic practice. Staffing will typically operate at 2 : 1, or in line with assessed need.

Who this role suits

This role will suit either :

A Deputy Manager ready to step up with structured support and guidance from the RI and leadership team.

A confident Registered Manager who wants to put their own stamp on a home, with the freedom to build a stable, values-led culture from day one, and the opportunity to dual register in Autumn 2026.

What we are looking for

A passionate, knowledgeable, and values-driven leader who puts children at the centre of every decision, and who :

• Has senior experience within children’s residential care
• Understands the Children’s Homes Regulations 2015, Quality Standards, and SCCIF
• Leads with integrity, calmness, and a consistent approach
• Builds and develops high-performing teams through coaching and supportive leadership
• Values structure, boundaries, and therapeutic approaches
• Thrives in an environment where autonomy and creativity are encouraged
