We are now recruiting for Class 1 Drivers with at least 6 months of experience, based at our Great Bear site in Minworth.

Shift :

5 ON 3 OFF

Salary :

• £41,769 per annum

Your job duties will include, but are not limited to :

• Delivering palletised general haulage goods nationwide
• Ensuring correct and thorough completion of paperwork
• Observing and adhering to company rules and procedures, including health, safety, and hygiene standards
• Maintaining a good working knowledge of transport department operations
• Maintaining high standards of behaviour and appearance
• Managing your own working time in line with the Road Transport Directive
• Adhering to tachograph rules and regulations at all times
• Completing daily vehicle checks as per company procedures
• Responsible for unit and trailer, including temperature checks
• Making deliveries to customers’ premises professionally

Qualifications

• Minimum of 6 months Class 1 experience
• Knowledge of Road Transport Directive and current drivers’ hours
• Excellent attention to detail
• Ability to work independently
• Adaptable and methodical approach to work and training
• Conscientious and reliable
• Professional and approachable
