Key Role Details & Responsibilities
- Strategic Relationship Management : Own and develop a portfolio of key accounts, including BTR operators, developers, and industry consultants, establishing yourself as a trusted advisor.
- Business Development : Proactively identify and pursue new business opportunities within the BTR market through strategic outreach, networking, and attending industry events.
- End-to-End Sales Cycle Leadership : Manage the entire sales process from initial enquiry to closing the deal. This includes preparing tailored proposals, presenting integrated solutions, leading contract negotiations, and coordinating with internal teams.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration : Work seamlessly with internal design team, lettings, logistics, and project management teams to ensure flawless service delivery and client satisfaction.
- Performance Tracking : Maintain accurate records and a robust sales pipeline within the CRM system (Salesforce), providing regular forecasts and performance updates to leadership.
Candidate Requirements
Proven Sales Experience : A minimum of two years in a sales or account management role, with direct experience in the Build-to-Rent sector (working for a furnishing provider, developer, or operator) being highly advantageous.Industry Knowledge : A solid understanding of BTR project cycles, key stakeholders, and decision-making processes within the industry.Communication Skills : An exceptional communicator and confident presenter with strong commercial awareness and the ability to manage complex sales cycles effectively.Essential Practicalities : Must possess a valid UK driving licence and have access to your own vehicle for client meetings and site visits across the region.Technical Proficiency : Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and proficient with CRM systems, with experience in Salesforce being a significant plus
