We are seeking an experienced
Project Manager
to lead the delivery of
bespoke engineering solutions
within the defence sector. This role is ideal for someone with a proven track record of taking products through the
entire lifecycle
from concept and requirements capture, through design, prototyping, testing, manufacture, production, and delivery / installation.

Key Responsibilities
Manage complex defence engineering projects from
initial concept through to final delivery .
Oversee
design, development, testing, manufacture, and deployment
activities.
Lead subcontractors, engineering teams, and stakeholders to deliver on time, to cost, and to quality.
Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, and risk registers.
Drive governance through
Stage Gates and V-Model delivery approaches .
Support bids, proposals, and business case development.
Essential Requirements
Proven experience delivering
bespoke product development projects
(NPI / NPD).
Full project lifecycle ownership
problem definition to installation .
Strong background in engineering, defence, or government programmes.
Demonstrated ability to manage subcontractors and stakeholders.
Familiarity with structured PM methodologies (e.g. PRINCE2, APM, PMP).
Current and active UK SC clearance (essential).
Desired Attributes
Degree in Engineering, Business, or Project Management.
Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
Commercial acumen and ability to operate in high-pressure environments.
