Role description :

Our teams are tackling some of the UK's most technically challenging projects and AMP8 programmes. We are renowned for our expertise as a specialist water industry design and build contractor in delivering these complex schemes. We are trusted by the country’s most prominent water companies.

We have exciting opportunities for Principal Electrical & ICA Engineer based at one of our offices across the UK (over 15 offices to choose from) with hybrid working available.

Reporting to the Regional Discipline Lead , this role is within our Engineering Team, where we work to provide environmentally conscious, innovative, and sustainable solutions to the water industry to protect our world for future generations.

Role accountabilities :

• Lead Electrical, Instrumentation, Control, and Automation design packages, ensuring projects meet cost, technical, legislative, quality, safety, and environmental standards and objectives.
• Possess excellent communication skills.
• Coordinate designs with engineering teams, delivery teams, and supply chain partners.
• Liaise with clients, the supply chain, and other project stakeholders.
• Ensure standard practices are adopted wherever possible.
• Prepare high-quality design drawings, clear design calculations, reports, and construction-ready documentation.
• Work in accordance with our contracts, business management processes, and procedures.
• Contribute to positive safety, health, environmental, and quality outcomes.
• Promote a culture of innovation and continuous improvement.
• Gain hands-on experience in commercial, programme, and financial aspects.
• Mentor and develop performance of assigned staff.
