We're looking for enthusiastic and dedicated SEN Learning Support Assistant to join our team across a number of SEN Schools across Swindon.
This is a rewarding opportunity to support young people aged 2-19 with additional needs, including ASD, SLD, SPD, PMLD, communication difficulties and behaviour that challenges.
What you'll be doing :
- Supporting pupils with additional needs in their learning, development and emotional growth
- Working closely with class teachers to create engaging and interactive activities
- Helping children develop social skills and positive relationships
- Maintaining a safe, supportive and nurturing environment
- Making a genuine difference to young people's lives every day
What we're looking for :
A genuine interest in supporting young people, especially those with mental health needsExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsPatience, empathy and resiliencePrevious experience with PECS, Makaton and medication administration is a bonus - but not essential as full training will be givenThe role :
Hours : 8 : 30am - 3 : 30pm, term time onlyPay : from £90 per dayFlexible : part-time or full-time options availableStart : Immediate starts available (with potential for permanent contracts for the right person)Location : Swindon SEND SchoolsWhy work with us?
