Locum Job Opportunity : Band 6 Mental Health Social Worker in Beckenham, UK – Earn £25 hourly

We are seeking a Band 6 Mental Health Social Worker for a full-time locum position in Beckenham. This role offers an attractive rate of £25 per hour for a 3-month assignment. What you will do

• Assess the physical and mental well-being needs of service users, collaborating with them, their carers, and the multidisciplinary team to plan, implement, evaluate, and monitor personalised care plans.
• Deliver care that addresses the mental, physical, spiritual, psychological, and social needs of service users, respecting individual differences such as age, culture, race, gender, ethnicity, social class, sexuality, and disability.
• Administer medication with an understanding of contraindications and side effects, providing information in accessible formats.
• Ensure up-to-date risk assessments and care plans are recorded for all service users attending the clinic.
• Encourage service users to strive for self-determination within legal and ethical boundaries.
• Operate within policy, professional, and legal frameworks, including knowledge of the NMC Code of Professional Conduct, risk assessment, safeguarding protocols, Mental Health Act, and clinical policies.
• Maintain accurate and timely entry of information in the E-PJS and ensure high-quality written communication in line with Trust protocols and professional standards.
• Foster open communication and collaborative relationships with colleagues as an active participant in a multidisciplinary team environment.
