Veritas Education is recruiting an experienced SEN Teaching Assistant to work in a supportive and inclusive primary school in Hackney. This is a general SEN TA role, supporting pupils across the classroom, with some 1 : 1 support required where needed.

The school is looking for a confident and capable SEN TA who can adapt to different needs and work proactively to support pupils with additional learning and behavioural needs.

The Role :

Supporting pupils with SEN across the classroom

Providing targeted 1 : 1 support when required

Assisting the class teacher with differentiation and engagement

Supporting pupils with autism, ADHD and other additional needs

Helping to maintain a calm, inclusive and structured learning environment

The Ideal Candidate :

Proven experience working as an SEN Teaching Assistant (essential)

Confident supporting pupils with a range of additional needs

Strong behaviour management and positive reinforcement strategies

Flexible, patient and proactive approach

Able to work effectively as part of a team
