Hours : Monday to Friday, 8 : 00am 5 : 00pm

We are looking for an organised, detail-oriented Cost Controller in Alfreton. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with technical experience in the transport industry, who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys building strong supplier relationships.

Key Responsibilities :

Cost Analysis and Control :

Analyse fleet costs and identify areas for improvement.

Implement cost-saving measures and monitor ongoing efficiency.

Scrutinise, challenge, and authorise the costs of jobs.

Supplier and Workflow Management :

Manage relationships with fleet suppliers, repairers, and service agents.

Negotiate favourable terms while ensuring quality service delivery.

Handle estimate / authorisation workflow via portals, emails, and phone calls.

Interface with a network of maintenance suppliers and understand their billing structures.

Ideal Candidate Will Have :

Exceptional attention to detail while working in a busy department.
