Estates Manager

My client is a high performing Multi Academy Trust with five sites across the capital and North London. Due to a successful grant process, a number of school sites are undertaking an ambitious refurbishment projects to create the best learning environment for their pupils.

To this end, the Trust is seeking an Estates Manager to oversee the work whilst ensuring the site's function as normally as possible.

This role is for an initial three-month period with a likelihood of extension- The full-time equivalent salary is £50K- £57K. The successful candidate will have estates experience within an education setting.

Duties for this role include, but are not limited to-

• Act on behalf of the Trust as Project Manager
• Liaise with contractors, central trust team and school leadership to ensure business as usual
• Work with existing site and estates staff to maintain site safety and productivity
• Consult with Heads and Teachers to ensure all work planning is completed effectively and efficiently, taking into account suggestions and ideas for improvement on site
• Travel to sites as required
