Structural Technician

An excellent opportunity has arisen for a Structural Technician in Derby. My Client is a multi-disciplined Engineering Consultancy who have multiple offices throughout the UK. Their Derby office is involved in a very strong range of design projects and with new key-projects having been awarded the timing couldn't be more perfect!

Overview of Role

• Undertaking technical drawing work in Revit and AutoCAD on a range of structural engineering projects (buildings).
• Produce a full range of structural drawings and details including: GA's, sections, elevations, plans and detailed drawings for projects of multiple construction materials
• Work closely within a Team under the direction of a Senior Structural Technician and Engineer to ensure deadlines are met and client requirements are fulfilled.
• Utilise AutoCAD with a level of proficiency that enables you to work with accuracy and pace on projects you have been allocated
• Utilise Revit with a level of proficiency that enable you to work with accuracy and pace on projects you have been allocated

This role is ideally suited to a Structural Technician who holds around 2 - 5 years of technical drawings experience within a structures setting. There is plenty of support provided for career progression and further development.
