Quality Engineer

MTEC are currently recruiting for a Quality Engineer for a manufacturer located in Staffordshire.

The Quality Engineer will be responsible for supporting customers with product quality related issues and ensuring customer satisfaction.

Further responsibilities will include :

• Understand production quality concerns and drive practical problems solving activities to resolve the issues.
• Ensure the correct quality standards are in place to assure the production processes are adhered to.
• Drive Quality basics in all production areas
• Audit current production processes & new processes before SOP to detect non conformities
• Support the project team with the development and creation of Process FMEAs, Control plans, Quality instructions, Checking fixture design etc).

The successful candidate will have proven experience of carrying out 8Ds / practical problem solving and dealing with external customers on a day to day basis.

Ideally, candidates will be apprentice or HNC qualified but candidates qualified by experience are encouraged to apply also.
