Team Administrator needed in Islington Paying £17.38 per hr ref 1585310

Full time hours on a temporarybasis

Responsibilities

• Take responsibility for promoting and safeguarding the welfare of children, young people, and vulnerable adults in your care and those you come into contact with.
• Undertake regular Child Protection training at a level appropriate to your role.
• Provide comprehensive administrative support, maintaining and improving office systems to ensure efficiency.
• Work co-operatively with supervisors and colleagues to deliver a flexible and effective administrative service.
• Maintain positive working relationships with other teams, council departments, partner agencies, and families referred to the service.
• Assist in ensuring that both paper and electronic filing systems are accurate, accessible, and up-to-date.
• Maintain and update data across a range of information systems.
• Deal sensitively with enquiries and telephone messages, logging calls accurately and alerting staff or managers to urgent issues.
• Use Microsoft Office to produce reports, spreadsheets, and other documents in the correct format.
• Process incoming and outgoing communications efficiently.
• Carry out basic financial tasks, such as reconciling and paying out petty cash, issuing travel warrants, processing invoices, making purchase card payments, and monitoring expenditure.
