About the Role :

• Deliver engaging and challenging Design and Technology lessons across Key Stages 3-5, following exam specifications and incorporating creative design processes and practical skills.
• Plan and deliver lessons that foster innovation, problem-solving, and practical skills, utilizing a variety of teaching methods and resources, including CAD / CAM software and workshop tools.
• Assess student progress through design projects, practical tasks, and written assessments, providing detailed feedback to support their development and ensure smooth transition mid-year.
• Contribute to the development of the DT curriculum, integrating current technological trends and industry practices, and participate in departmental planning.
• Organize and lead design and technology projects, workshops, and visits to local industries, promoting hands-on learning and practical application of skills, adapting to mid-year integration.
