GSL Education are looking for a dedicated Cover Supervisor to work in a welcoming school in Staveley. This role is ideal for those considering a career in teaching or education, as it offers valuable classroom experience while making a positive impact on pupils’ learning.

Role Overview :

As a CS , you will supervise classes during teacher absences, ensuring pupils remain on task with their pre-set work. You will help maintain a safe, engaging, and productive learning environment while managing behaviour effectively.

As a Cover Supervisor, you will :

• Deliver pre-prepared lessons and supervise pupils in the classroom.
• Ensure students stay engaged and focused on their learning.
• Manage classroom behaviour in line with school policies.
• Support pupils in understanding tasks and encourage participation.
• Work collaboratively with staff to contribute to the wider school environment.
