FLT Counterbalance Driver

FLT Driver

We are currently recruiting an experienced FLT Driver to join our client’s busy foundry environment in the Congleton area. This is a temp-to-perm opportunity offering stable, weekday hours and long-term potential for the right candidate.

Main duties of this FLT Driver role:

• Operating a Forklift Truck to transport goods and materials around the foundry
• Loading and unloading materials safely and efficiently
• Moving stock between production, storage, and dispatch areas
• Supporting general yard and foundry operations as required
• Following all health & safety procedures at all times

Skills & Experience Required for this FLT Driver position:

• In-date FLT licence essential (counterbalance)
  
  • In-house licences will be considered
• Previous experience operating an FLT in an industrial or heavy environment preferred
• Comfortable working in a foundry setting
• Willing and able to work in all weather conditions
• Good attention to detail and safety awareness
• Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently as well as part of a team

Details of this FLT Driver role:

• Hourly rate: £12.74ph, increasing to £13.43 after probation period
• Monday to Friday 8:00-16:30
• Temp to perm position for the right candidate
• Location: Congleton
