A permanent vacancy has arisen within our clients Production Engineer Section for an Assistant Section Manager . Reporting to the Production Engineering Section Manager, the successful candidates main focus will be on implementation of enhanced engineering systems in order to produce the required range and volume of products.

Salary on offer Dependant on experience, Up to £57,000 pa

The main duties of the post include :

• Supporting and maintaining compliance with all relevant safety and regulatory standards
• Setting and achieving section KPIs and performance targets
• Driving manufacturing innovation, including through digitisation, SMART factory and automation initiatives
• Managing a team of engineers and technicians and supporting their career development through training and coaching
• Driving continuous improvement activities, driving performance, efficiency, quality and reliability gains
• Leading and planning and introduction of new engineering solutions, including new equipment and new models
• Assist with planning, management and control of budgets for both Operating Expenses and Capital Investment.
