The job : We are seeking two dedicated and compassionate FEMALE Personal Assistants to join our team in the Carnforth area. In this role, you will provide high-quality care and support to a lady with complex health needs, ensuring at all times her comfort, safety, and well-being. She is a former nurse with a fantastic sense of humour looking for person centred support to ensure she can remain as independent as possible in her own home. The support is required overnight and tasks include : Monitoring her BiPAP, Assisting with continence, Monitoring blood sugars, Administration of medication, Some domestic tasks such a washing, drying, cleaning. She has a loving and dedicated family around her who ensure her home is welcoming, friendly and a lovely place to work.

The right person : The ideal candidate is someone who has some experience of providing care and support to individuals, particularly providing support to people with complex health conditions. The ideal person would be able to work well as part of a wider team and be person centred in their approach.

The hours : 30 hours waking night shifts per week to be worked between the hours of 10.00pm - 08.00am. There will be a 2 week rolling rota in place : Week 1 = Monday night, Tuesday night, Saturday night and Sunday night Week 2 = Wednesday Night, Thursday night and Friday night The rates of pay and benefits : PAs are paid £15.89 per hour

You will receive paid holidays and the opportunity for training relevant to your role. Successful applicants must be eligible to work in the UK. This post is subject to DBS checks, the cost of which will be met by your employer.
