Housing Assessment Support Officer

A local authority in Essex is seeking a Housing Allocations Officer to join the busy team. This is a fast-paced frontline role that makes a real difference to people in need across the district.

In this role, you'll :

Assess housing applications and maintain the Housing Register

Liaise with agencies to verify information and determine priority

Support applicants, including those at risk of homelessness

Provide nominations to housing associations and respond to enquiriesWhat you'll bring :

Experience in housing and knowledge of the Housing Act (Parts 6 & 7)

Experience using Abritas

Full driving licence and access to a car
