The Role – Maths Teacher
The position of the Maths Teacher is for a fully qualified teacher who can confidently deliver Maths to small groups of KS3 and KS4 students within a PRU environment. You will need to have strong classroom management skills and be able to differentiate your lessons to suit the individual needs of your students, many of whom have EHCPs and require a trauma-informed approach to learning. The successful Maths Teacher will be supported by experienced behaviour mentors in class and will be delivering a functional curriculum aimed at engagement and progress.

This PRU is based in the London Borough of Harrow and supports secondary-aged students who have been excluded from mainstream education or are at risk of exclusion. The school has a strong focus on pastoral care and re-engagement through a therapeutic approach.
